The Optare Solo is a low-floor minibus/midibus manufactured by Optare in the United Kingdom since 1998.
The Solo name is a play on its (so)low-floor status.
This ‘Slimline’ version was introduced in 2004 and quickly filled a role on rural routes and others where the reduced width was a bonus. It can seat 22 passengers with a further 8 standing.
